A strong wave of organizational activity is energizing the Piacenza Expo team in anticipation of the new edition of Apimell.
APIMELL, Europe’s leading trade fair for professional beekeeping, is preparing to launch its 2026 edition with a major structural renewal and a promotional campaign designed to reinforce its central role at the continental level. After a productive year that has offered fresh momentum to the sector, Piacenza Expo (6-7-8 March) is ready to welcome the entire supply chain with an enhanced format and cutting-edge solutions.

-
Functional redesign: the exhibition layout has been optimized to meet the needs of exhibitors, ensuring greater visibility and better networking opportunities. At the same time, the visitor path for beekeepers has been redesigned to be smoother and more targeted, enabling an efficient exploration of innovations.
-
Integrated outdoor areas: for the first time, the outdoor spaces of the exhibition grounds will become an active and integral part of the event, hosting dynamic moments of discussion and effectively expanding the available exhibition area.
-
Synergy with Seminat: the already present integration with Seminat, the area dedicated to gardening and horticulture, will be strengthened. This deeper synergy reflects the strong interconnection between beekeeping, biodiversity protection, and environmental care ahead of the spring season, offering visitors a complete overview of agricultural and natural well-being.

Beekeeping on the ride: a focus on technology and sustainability
The apiculture sector approaches APIMELL 2026 with renewed optimism, supported by the positive results of the latest production year, which have partially offset the negative effects of recent difficult seasons caused by climatic instability and rising raw-material costs.
Piacenza Expo is confirmed as the ideal stage for a fresh start, hosting the largest concentration of innovative technologies and solutions for beekeeping efficiency in Europe. From 4.0 honey-extraction equipment to remote-monitoring systems, APIMELL offers concrete answers to the sector’s operational challenges.

The sector’s scientific and political core
APIMELL has always been the chosen meeting place for national and international beekeeping associations. The 2026 edition will further strengthen this role, serving as the ideal venue to:
- maximise scientifica outreach with a program rich in conferences, seminars and workshops, curated by top experts to support knowledge transfer and best practices;
- take advantage of the fair’s role as the core stage for discussions on support policies, pathogen control, biodiversity protection, and the economic sustainability of European apiculture.
Apimell proudly holds the status of Internationale Trade Fair, as certified by the ISF institution.
